THE NAVY

NOW- I finished parental leave in October and sailed for a month the first day back to work. We were down in southern California on exercises with American ships. It was nice and sunny the whole time, I didn't miss the cold rain back home. I went to a Kings-Ducks game in LA. It's kind of funny that my first NHL game was in California.

The RHIB (rigid hulled inflatable boat) is being prepared for lowering over the side.

This was the first oil tanker we stopped in the Persian Gulf area. Members of the boarding party are climbing up the side of the ship from the RHIB .
